TEAM EARTHHUB

James Boehmer: Executive Director

Our Earth sustains life and needs our help to remain healthy and we in turn need our Earth to in turn ensure our own existence.  Coming together to share and learn from each other about our planets natural systems and creatures is the best way to steward our Earth.  I believe video is a great way to do this!  I believe in media and I believe in each other to care.  With growing populations and infrastructure and the many choices of how to grow and live together in harmony is being tested every day. My hope is that Earthhub and EarthHub.TV stand as a beacon of hope to guide each other.  Earthhub.tv is a hub of information that binds us all together as we share with each other.

I studied environmental science and photography at The Evergreen State College in WA (BS) and received a (MS) degree in Communication and Education in Wildlife and Fisheries Conservation at The University of Massachusetts, Amherst.  Thank you for being a part of EarthHub.tv and sharing your love of our planet.

Jaz Taur: Co-Director

Jaz Taur is an Entrepreneur, Artist, and part of Earthhub.TV’s founding team. They have a rare blood disorder called Porphyria which makes them sensitive to sunlight. In spite of that limitation, they have a deep love for nature and an understandably large appreciation for trees. Jaz appreciates the concept of a circular economy and how it can be applied to their own lifestyle as well as others. They enjoy skateboarding, gardening, and learning new things. Jaz has been involved in many entrepreneurial ventures and brings that knowledge to the Earthhub team. They continue to consult as well as create in all the ways they can. Jaz can be reached at Jaz@earthhub.tv for Earthhub.TV related matters and Jaztaur@gmail.com for anything else.

Noah Greenwald: Co-Director

Noah Greenwald is the Endangered Species Director of the Center for Biological Diversity, where he directs the Center’s efforts to protect new species under the Endangered Species Act, to ensure that imperiled species receive effective protections and that we have the strongest Endangered Species Act possible.  He also works to educate the public about the importance of protecting biodiversity and about the multitude of threats to the survival of North American wildlife.  He holds a bachelor of science in ecology from the Evergreen State College and a master’s in forest ecology and conservation from the University of Washington. Before he joined the Center in 1997, Noah worked as a field biologist, surveying northern spotted owls and marbled murrelets and banding Hawaiian songbirds.

Evan Chaisson: Team Member

Growing up In Northern Massachusetts, Evan has had access to an unyielding supply of nature. He’s experienced countless days swimming in the atlantic, hiking the appalachian mountains, strolling through state and national parks, and much more. Over time, his compassion for these environments has compounded to an almost incalculable amount. He loves these environments, and he wants them to thrive as much as possible. It pains Evan to walk through a beautiful park and see litter on the ground, or netting in the oceans, or cigarette butts plaguing every square inch of ground. To devote his time and efforts to an organization wholeheartedly dedicated to raising environmental awareness through positive education and action is a dream come true.

Donnie Cadman: Team Member

Donnie Cadman is an intern and videographer at EarthHub.TV. A recent graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Donnie is currently enrolled in Emerson College with an MFA in Film and Media Art. He has also volunteered with MASSPIRG and Environment Massachusetts, where he has advocated to ban the use of both Styrofoam and honeybee-killing pesticides called neonicotinoids. As an aspiring filmmaker, Donnie thinks it is hard to get beautiful shots of nature when it is covered in trash (or the rising seas, for that matter). He hopes to utilize his shooting and editing skills to help us appreciate our natural environment as we learn how to protect it! In his spare time, Donnie likes going on YouTube, reading, and of-course watching movies. Donnie can be reached at donnie_cadman@emerson.edu.
